How to convert a PDF to JPG β in 3 steps
SlimIO's PDF to JPG tool renders every page of a PDF to a high-quality image. Everything runs in your browser, so your file stays private and there is nothing to upload.
- 1. Add your PDF. Drop in one file, or click to browse.
- 2. Tune quality and resolution. Higher resolution keeps text and detail crisper.
- 3. Download. A one-page PDF gives one image; more pages arrive as a single ZIP of JPG or PNG images.
JPG vs PNG
Choose JPG for a smaller file (default) or PNG for lossless quality. To make the images even smaller, first compress the PDF then convert.
Choosing the resolution
The resolution slider sets how many pixels each page gets. At 1x a page is drawn at 72 pixels per inch, so an A4 page becomes about 595 Γ 842 pixels; the default 1.5x gives about 893 Γ 1263, 2x about 1191 Γ 1684 and 3x about 1786 Γ 2526. For reading on a phone or posting online, 1.5x is plenty. For small print, tables or anything you will zoom into, use 2x or 3x. Lower resolutions make smaller files.
When to use it
- Upload forms that only take images. Some portals accept JPG but not PDF β convert the page you need, then pick it from the ZIP.
- Sharing a page. Messengers and social apps show images instantly, while a PDF has to be downloaded and opened.
- Slides and documents. Drop a page of a report into a presentation as a picture.
What you get
Every page becomes one image, named after your file with the page number (report_001.jpg, report_002.jpg β¦), and all images arrive in one ZIP file (a one-page PDF gives just the image). The original PDF is not changed. Text in the images can no longer be selected or searched β keep the PDF if you need that. To go the other way, use JPG to PDF.
