How to remove pages from a PDF β in 3 steps

Remove vs split vs extract
Remove deletes the pages you don't want. Extract (Split β range mode) instead keeps the pages you name. And if you want the smallest possible file, run the PDF compressor afterward.
Writing which pages to remove
Use commas between pages and a dash for a range: 2 removes page 2, 2, 5 removes pages 2 and 5, and 3-6 removes pages 3 to 6. The page count of your PDF is shown so you can check the numbers before you remove anything. The original file is untouched; you download a new copy.
Why remove pages
- Smaller uploads. Blank pages, covers and appendices count against size limits. Removing them is often the quickest way under 1MB or 500KB.
- Privacy. Drop pages with information the recipient doesn't need, such as bank details on a later page.
- Cleaner scans. Remove the blank backs that a duplex scanner adds.
The remaining pages are kept exactly as they were β nothing is re-rendered. To keep only a few pages instead, Split PDF can extract a range.
