SlimIO (pdfslimio.com) offers free PDF and image tools. This page explains what happens to your files and what data is collected when you use the site.

Your files

• Most tools run entirely in your browser. Merge, split, remove pages, rotate, organize, page numbers, watermark, sign, PDF to JPG, JPG to PDF, image compression and browser-mode PDF compression never send your file to our server.
• Server compression. When you choose Server mode on the PDF compressor, or use a "compress PDF to a size" page, your PDF is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our server, compressed with Ghostscript, and the temporary files are deleted as soon as the result is sent back. We do not keep, read or share your files.

Usage limits

To enforce the free daily limit, our server counts operations per IP address. The count is kept only in memory, is not written to a database, and is cleared daily.

Analytics

We use Umami and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages and tools are used. Both are cookie-free and report aggregated statistics such as page views, referring sites, country and device type; they do not identify you personally. We also record when a tool is used (for example "merge"), without any file content.

Advertising and cookies

We may show ads served by Google AdSense to keep SlimIO free.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Service providers

The site is delivered through Cloudflare and hosted on Fly.io, which process standard request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. Some pages load libraries from cdnjs (pdf.js, pdf-lib, JSZip) and, on the Sign PDF page, fonts from Google Fonts.

Children

SlimIO is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
