How to compress an image — in 3 steps

- 2. Pick a size. Choose a target such as under 200KB, and resize if you like. Leave it on "No limit" to simply optimize.
- 3. Download. Save each image, or grab them all as one ZIP.
Hit an upload limit?
Job portals, school systems and government forms often cap photos at 100KB or 200KB. Pick that size and SlimIO finds the highest quality that fits — first by adjusting JPEG quality, then by scaling down only if it has to.
ID and passport photos
The 3×4 cm and 3.5×4.5 cm presets crop the photo from the center to the standard shape and scale it to the pixel size most online forms expect. Start from a photo where your face is roughly centered for the best result.
